Airport Cities
Today Airports and Airlines are anticipating a return to the stable and successful growth that defined the last two decades. Although, industry analysts are predicting stronger passenger volumes, for both Airports and Airlines in the next decade. The travel industry has only just become seriously aware of the economic and financial power, to be gained from the "Aerotropolis" concept and the increase of passenger Air Travel in the next decade.

According to the Airports Council International (ACI), its current member airports will see passenger numbers grow from 3.1 billion in 1999 to 4.6 billion in 2020.
